Born and raised on the South side of Kenosha, Kyle was raised by the combined efforts of his mother and grandparents. Kyle’s mother grew up with a diagnosed learning disability from birth. Kyle is also deaf in his left ear and these experiences have led him to be a strong advocate for those with disabilities.

Kyle is Italian and Irish and very proud of that heritage. He grew up in Kenosha hanging out at the lake, the Keno drive in, and eating delicious local pizza. Kenosha made Kyle who he is and he has dedciated his life trying to give back to Kenosha.

Kyle is the youngest person ever elected in Kenosha as a former Kenosha Unified School Board Member from 2013 to 2016 after being elected at 18 years old.

On the Board, he championed proposals to empower the student voice, protect students from bullying, create higher standards for academics, protect workers, and give families better opportunities and choices within the district.

With Kyle’s leadership, Kenosha Unified went through major facilities upgrades including new athletic facilities, lowered elementary class sizes, conducted full curriculum and safety audits, and approved the district's current mission and vision.

Kyle has a wide range of work experiences. His first job was when he was 14 years old at Action Territory. He spent years in his early 20s working in customer service, retail, and restaurants.

In 2016, Kyle worked on his first campaign and became a full time organizer in 2020. He has worked for campaigns and advocacy organizations since then. He is currently the organizer for a local public education advocacy coalition.

Kyle is a former UW-Parkside Ranger and a proud Trojan, having graduated from Tremper High School in 2012. He also attended Whittier Elementary, Forest Park Elementary, and Lance Middle School.

Kyle is passionate about theater, music, and literature and enjoys reading, NBA basketball, playing racquetball, and video games.

He’s a nerd at heart and an avid fan of Star Wars and the MCU. He loves RPGs and has been playing Runescape off and on since the 6th grade.

Kyle lives with his fiance Devynn and their dog, Theon. Most of Kyle and Devynn’s immediate family lives in Kenosha.

Kyle’s mother worked paycheck to paycheck to support him before eventually breaking through government red tape and being approved for the disability assistance that she desperately needed.

Kyle’s grandparents are conservative, kindhearted people who moved here from Upstate New York in the early 80s. His grandmother was an educational assistant in KUSD and currently volunteers with the Kemper Center and his grandfather is a retired businessman, Army Veteran, and former Meals on Wheels volunteer.

His father was a victim of both bad choices, addiction, and a bad system that led to most of his years during Kyle’s childhood being spent in prison. In recent years, Kyle and his dad have renewed a closer relationship.
